Maintenance Department:   Cleaning Volunteer

Volunteers assist the maintenance staff with cleaning work and maintaining the main library building. Tasks include vacuuming carpets, wiping desk surfaces and bookshelves, mopping and other general cleaning work. Applicants must be 16 years or older. Volunteers are needed for the following days and times: Monday to Saturday: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Please contact the library’s volunteer coordinator to set up a volunteer interview.  An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. All of our volunteer positions  include ongoing tasks and are not for a one time or  short term volunteer opportunity.  Every volunteer will have a regular working schedule with a minimum of two hours each week.
